Dynamic Portraits
Dynamic portraiture is a style of portraiture that is a bit more involved than the traditional portrait setup that you are used to. In traditional portraiture studios, a backdrop is set, some props are thrown in, and a formula is followed. In dynamic portraiture, you are involved in the creative process because we are looking to make an expression about you or the subject you're requesting be photographed. Interests, ideals, personality, and other aspects that define who you or the subject is as a person are considered and worked into the photo.

Family Portraits
Family portraiture, when done by Kier Selinsky, is approached in a more relaxed and fun way than you may be used to. Traditionally, family photos are taken by arranging the members based on height and so forth, to create a pattern in the frame. Kier looks for the relationships between the different family members, and looks for the shots that reflect those various relationships.

Legacy Portraits
Legacy portraiture is meant for the expression of your legacy. Usually this takes the form of grandparents and grandchildren together, or other interconnected relationships that show the breadth of the impact that you have made in your life.

Custom Artwork Pieces
Custom artwork pieces are special requests from clients who are looking to have something with more continuity than separated photos. These can be multiple portraits placed together as a diptych (2 images beside each other), triptych (3 images beside each other), or other arrangement. Custom artwork pieces allow for a wide range of possibilities - one of our favorites is a diptych or triptych with one fine portrait and one or two detail photos of the subject.

Children Portraits
Kier's approach to children's portraits is certainly a unique one. It is rare that a kid can be a kid in the studio, so Kier usually is on the chase to get the right photos during play. He will work to stay out of their way enough to let the child have some fun, while still getting in close enough to capture those timeless expressions.

Model Portfolios
Models have unique needs when it comes to portraiture. Models need a standard head shot with some dynamic images to show how they would look in a piece layout arrangement. Some model work can be seen on the Commercial page.

Environmental Portraiture
Environmental portraiture is, as the name suggests, portraiture within your environment or the environment that you feel most clearly shows what you want to express. This could be in your home, a park, a business environment, etc.
Kier will work with you and your selected location to create photos that accurately reflect what aspect you wanted to say about yourself in that setting.
